Invite by the Swedish Ambassador to India for India-EU Report Launch

Today was quite a busy day for me.

Today, we had just commenced the 3rd Indian Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law, 2023 by the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (you can watch the Curtain Raiser, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGHL8X9miSI). On the other hand, I am glad I was invited by Observer Research Foundation and Sweden In India for their report release on India-European Union economic ties (You can read the report here: https://www.svensktnaringsliv.se/sakomraden/internationell-handel/india-and-the-european-union-in-2030-building-a-closer-economic-r_1201391.html). The insights by some economic and policy experts such as Mihir Sharma and Amb. (Retd.) Gurjeet Singh were incredible. Here is my quick summary from the fantastic report published by ORF and the event:

1. The European Union needs to figure out newer industry-sector avenues to expand their India economic relationship; 2. GOI has largely been proactive at a government-to-government level to escalate FTA talks; 3. The ORF report recognises that the EU will have to convince India that CBAM is not protectionism and not going to hurt Indian clearing firms and companies (which is hard);

I enjoyed the discussion. It was an honour to participate. I would be glad to also attend the Global Technology Summit, 2023 by Carnegie India in New Delhi, sooner. P.S.: Today we had amazing committee sessions by the AIGA R&D Committee of the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law. I will explore what was discussed in these sessions, and congratulate Pavithra Manivannan, Samridhi Jain and Bogdan Grigorescu for their contributions in these sessions. :)
